Since the early middle ages where the first Flemish towns began to fortify themselves against the Vikings, the Belgian architecture changed trough the ages with the influence of all over Europe. From this diversity, new and unique styles came up everywhere in the country showing us results of genius talents.


1st day Brussels

  • AM The visit will start by the Horta museum: the private house of the world famous Art Nouveau creator; then to Ms Majerus’s stain glasses workshop where a wonderful collection can be seen and where we can learn how ancient craftsmen were creating their masterpieces.
  • PM The sightseeing continues to discover the Grand-Place and the Gilde houses, the Galleries St Hubert, Manneken-pis, the cathedral St Michel, the Sablon squares with the gothic church Notre-Dame, the law court, the Royal palace, Brussels park …and a visit on the comic strip Museum a building created also by Victor Horta.

2nd day Gent - Bruges

  • AM A half day sightseeing on foot in Gent to discover the native land of Charles V, the Belfry, the City Hall, St Nicolas Church, the St Michel bridge and to visit the cathedral St Baffs with the world famous Mystical Lamb from the brothers Van Eyks.
  • PM The excursion will continue to Bruges to discover the Grote Markt, the Belfry and Halles, the Basilica of the Holy Blood, the City Hall, the Beguinage, the Lake of love…. and to enjoy a one-hour canal cruise.

3rd day Antwerp

  • AM Visit of the centre of town to discover the first European Skyscraper, the Grand-Place, the town hall, the cathedral Notre-Dame, Rubens house and the St Charles Borromeo baroque church.
  • PM The afternoon will be filled by a city sightseeing and a walk to the Cogels-Osylei aria with typical art-nouveau houses before we visit the Mayer VanDenBergh Museum the private house of an incredible art collector.

4th day Ardennes

  • AM Full day sightseeing to the luxurious Ardennes castles. First to Namur and the wonderful Annevoie garden then to Dinant with its unique church and scenery before we reach the smallest and cutest Belgian town: Durbuy.
  • PM In the afternoon, visit of Modave castle with some sections dating to the XIII century where about twenty richly decorated and furnished rooms are open to the public with sculptures paintings, tapestries and furniture…

5th day Mechelen - Brussels

  • AM This day will be first for a half day sightseeing through the historical city of Mechelen, the political capital of the Nederland in the 16th century: the Rombout's cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace, the St John church, the Town Hall…
  • PM Back to Brussels, the last afternoon will be free for shopping or to enjoy the city with personal interest


Lunches and dinners are selected according the proposals.
Guides and assistants can accompany all transfers and sightseeing.
